First class.

A first class flight to England was a much appreciated treat (thank you, Thud.)  Lots of fairly good wine; beginning with bubbles, followed by a nice Kiwi SB, and finally a passable Chateauneuf-du-Pape.  The food was decent also.
However, the single best treat of the day was being met at Manchester airport by my 3 year old niece who brought a freshly made strawberry jam butty, just for me.  Yum!

When I traveled a lot I always wondered what they were drinking in First Class. I can say that in Baggage Class a couple of those little bottles of Kendall Jackson NV White wine at least took the edge off. I am glad you enjoyed it Vinogirl but you may not want to get too used to those amenities!

Even if I was in 'baggage class' I could never go KJ...you're a braver man than me Vinomaker!

The flight sounds a real treat, but the premier welcoming committee sounds like the ultimate finish!
