Whites down...

...reds to go. I finished pruning the Pinot grigio today, so that is both of Vinoland's white grape varieties done and dusted. Earlier this week snow was forecast (down at sea-level) for tomorrow, but now it doesn't look like it's going to materialise. Snow in Vinoland would probably interfere with my pruning plans for the weekend. We'll see...

Blah snow! Does the entire country grind to a complete halt like it does back here?

Cesar: Folks in San Francisco were getting very agitated just at the thought of sliding around on those hills...it didn't happen.

Thomas: I know, living in California has made me all soft and spoiled.

Thud: 25F this morning, but it got up to a decent, and sunny, 51F.
Breeze was a tad chilly, but I'm sure it was nothing like what you were experiencing.

Yes I can imagine SF turning into a ski slope.

2009 I flew into the first ever recorded snowfall in Dallas on Christmas Eve. Complete Blizzard. The locals were just standing around, open-mouthed, pointing at the sky.
